Young people need Christ, but they also know that Christ chose to be in need of them. ~St. Pope John Paul II
Religious Education (RE), or Sunday School, takes place on three Sundays per month - usually the first, second, and fourth Sundays- after the 9:00 a.m. Mass. Children in grades K-6 participate in activities and learning centers in mixed age groups led by adult catechists. Pre-K children meet separately in the Newman Center.

Children's Liturgy of the Word - CLW - is another important component to our formal religious education at CTK. In addition to the children getting to reflect on the bible stories at their level, parents are able to spend this time un-distracted by their children and more able to fully focus and engage during the Liturgy of the Word.

Vacation Bible School (VBS) is offered during a week in June for a more in-depth experience of learning and sharing faith. The week is full of music, games, crafts, bible stories, food and plenty of fun for children in preschool through 5th grade. Our middle school and high school youth are actively involved with VBS and are a big reason it is so successful. More information will be available in 2015 for VBS 2015.
